Alzheimer’s is the most common form of dementia, accounting for around 60-80% of all dementia cases. It primarily affects older adults, though early-onset Alzheimer’s can develop in people under the age of 65.
Symptoms often start with mild memory loss and confusion, which worsen over time. As the disease progresses, individuals may experience difficulty recognizing loved ones, trouble speaking, and losing the ability to perform everyday activities.
